2012 Tuck's Ridge Mornington Peninsula Pinot Gris

Cracka Value Rating

Cracka Review

This is a rather rich & buxom style of Pinot Gris made in a relatively dry style, which means it is a generous mouthful of wine. Ripe pears, red apples, ginger spice and honeysuckle florals fill the nasal passages, and then leap onto the fulsome palate. It's all wrapped up in bright acidity, a touch of talciness, and a smooth, voluptuous finish. Great over the next couple of years with some Thai takeaway.

Winemaker's Notes

With incredible depth and richness this wine loves food! It has the apple blossom lift, spice and pears that characterise cool climate Gris. Drink it now in its youthful vibrancy or lay some down for midterm cellaring potential.
