Cracka Review

Ackerman is the largest wine producer in the Loire Valley, and this Muscadet would be great with all kinds of seafood, especially oysters. This is a dry citrusy number, with lots of lemons, limes and pretty honeysuckle florals jumping out of the glass. Meanwhile, the palate is lighter-bodied, crisp and zesty, with a chalky mineral mouthfeel, a touch of creaminess, and a long, frisky finish. It's lip-licking stuff, and decent value if you are looking for something a little different.

Winemaker's Notes

Appearance: Pale yellow colour.
Nose: Dry nose with mineral notes.

Palate: Dry and refreshing with citrus / lime aromas and a crisp lively finish on mineral notes.

Food: It is the perfect wine to accompany seafood, shell fish, goat cheese. It is also a refreshing white wine to serve chilled (8°C) on its own as an aperitif.

Grape variety: 100% Melon de Bourgogne.
