    James Halliday (2013 Vintage) says
Pale, bright quartz-green; a complex, but particularly well balanced wine, with barrel ferment inputs on the bouquet and palate enhancing the varietal fruit expression; apple, stone fruit and citrus rind run along the tightly focused palate.

    Ray Jordan (2010 Vintage) says
There appears to be a bit of funk in this excellent chardonnay. It's an elegant design with its lifted scents of apple and pear on the nose. A little mineral addition adds complexity. On the palate the richness and wonderful texture a strong points. Fine and focussed with a very long finish. The oak and fruit balance is excellent and that minerally grapefruit edge provides a precise mouth feel.

In the understated style of the estate, with stony components to the citrus and apple taking it firmly in the direction of Chablis. Will repay cellaring

    Ray Jordan (2008 Vintage) says
Pure strong fruit-driven Chardonnay loaded with creamy nutty fruit and balanced with a clean citrus and acid mix. Well judge oak infused into the excellent fruit which shows power and length. Nice wine in the shorter term.

A very refined wine which goes against normal regional patterns with excellent length and line, but less depth and complexity; should repay cellaring.

    Ray Jordan (2007 Vintage) says
Very good chardonnay from this excellent vintage. Mix of grapefruit and rich meal on the nose with a touch of crme Broulee. Palate is nutty and full flavoured with a fine acid and balanced oak to carry the finish. Texture is the key here as it is with most Fermoy wines.

    James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
A very tight bouquet and palate in marked contrast to the usual Margaret River style; citrus and stone fruit, with the oak barely visible; will grow slowly but surely in bottle.

    James Halliday (2002 Vintage) says
Tightly controlled barrel ferment inputs to the complex bouquet; fines up on the palate, with more fruit focus; excellent finish and aftertaste.
