Cracka Review

This is, quite simply, what red wine dreams are made of. Made from a selection of prime Barossa vineyards, this has a lavishness that is just addictive. Think chunky plum fruit, toasty coconut oak, drying tannins. The whole kit and kaboodle. It's a $35/bottle prime mover, the 14.5% alcohol a nod to the outright power and density of what is a proper Barossa red in every way.

Winemaker's Notes

Each year our winemakers select specific parcels of premium fruit from the best vineyards of the Barossa. The fruit only qualifies for inclusion if he is inspired by the generous and rich fruit flavours that will result in the creation of a wine with a characteristic Australian style.

This premium quality Shiraz wine has a distinct black pepper and cherry aroma with liquorice notes combined with robust oak flavours on the palate. Full bodied with plum and chocolate pudding notes and a smooth finish, it's perfect with rich Italian cuisine or wild game meats.

Our commitment is to produce sustainable wines that are as close to natural as possible. We are an early advocate and ongoing partner with For every case of The Vineyards Range purchased, we will plant 5 trees on your behalf.
