2013 Tomboy Hill 'William's Picking' Chardonnay

What's the verdict?
"A limited release of 75 dozen, give or take a few bottles (3 barriques). The similarity of the fruit intensity to that of the '14 Rebellion Chardonnay is uncanny, it has profound depth, built around a deep well of very special acidity - which gives the fruit free rein to express itself, as it does

What's the winemaker have to say?

Appearance:Pale straw in colour

On the nose:delicate, tight minerally nose that opens beautifully to reveal lovely aromas of white peach.

On the palate:The palate is surprisingly full-bodied, fresh and rich yet crunchy, while the finish is quite textural and long, with an appealing acid line. A wine that will age gracefully and evolve into a Meursault-style Chardonnay.

Alcohol: 12.6%

Bottle Size: 750ml

Closure: Screw Cap
