Cracka Review

Cantine Pra are well-known for their outstanding soave wines made mostly from the native garganega grape, and this is one of their top wines. Scents of lemons, almonds, ginger spice and jasmine florals waft out of the glass, and the palate is light to medium-bodied with delicate fruit flavours, zippy acidity, a quartzy minerally texture, and a long, poised finish. This would be great with a nice chicken panang.

Winemaker's Notes

Appearance: Straw yellow.

Nose: Intense, well persisting and delicate, it stands out for its elegant and neat aroma. The fermentation in wood adds complexity to its fragrances so that besides the mineral vein of the land and the mellow fruity notes typical of the vines, it also displays elegant and well-amalgamated sensations of sweet spices.

Palate: On the palate it confirms its complexity and persistence with an excellent taste - olfactory correspondence: it is greatly harmonious, its acidity and sapidity well balancing the alcohol mellow notes.

Food: It is suitable to combine with risotto, oven-roasted and grilled fish, white meats, as well as with fresh or middle-seasoned cheese.

Grape Variety: 80% Garganega, 20% Trebbiano of Soave.

A steely and bright white with sliced apple, lemon and stone character. Hints of free herb. Medium body, tight and dense with lovely fruit. Crisp and lively.
