Made from a blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Carignan, it's certainly in a modern vein with lots of fruity smells of raspberries, cherries and dark plums on the nose, whilst the palate is more full-bodied and sweetly-fruited, with lush red berry flavours, a touch of soft spice, fine friendly tannins, and a juicy fruit finish. It's excellent value and rates highly on the drinkability scale.
Garnet red colour with sparkling cherry highlights. The nose is expressive, complex with dominant notes of red fruit (blackcurrant, strawberry) that grows to the mouth. The palate is smooth, round with a real sense of sweetness. Supported by fine tannins and a velvety mouth with a lot of persistence and volume. A successful wine to enjoy without waiting.
