The wine has a low pH (3.16), 30% fermented and matured for 1 month in new French hogsheads, the remainder in stainless steel. Has more presence, drive and overall fruit flavour than its Adelaide Hills sibling, and greater freshness. All in all, a surprising and contrasting success.
