Expert Reviews

Tyson Stelzer (2010 Vintage) says
Maude’s pinot vines celebrated their 16th birthday in 2010, and their fruit gains in elegance and confidence with each year. it’s handled 100 percent whole bunch particularly well here, with all the exotic action you’d expect, yet with restraint, poise, effortless persistence of black fruits and fine, silky tannins.

Wine Companion (2010 Vintage) says
Central Otago, New Zealand Sourced entirely from the family vineyard planted in 1994 in the Wanaka sub-district of Central Otago, the dynamic team of Sarah- Kate and Dan Dineen are rising stars to be taken seriously. There is a sappy fragrance to the bouquet showing cold tea, liqueur-soaked plums and geranium; the palate is fleshy and direct, showing ample fine-grained tannins and finishing with a lingering sweet-fruited finish. Completely unevolved and ethereal in its grace, this is one for lovers of fine-boned pinot noir.
