Moscato is the taste of Summer, and this one comes from one of Italy's 'rock star' wine makers, Giorgio Pelissero. Perfumed scents of musky florals, apples and pears float out of the glass, whilst the palate is crisp and svelte with a touch of sweetness, a slight spritz and a frolicsome finish. It's only 5.5% alcohol, which means it's the perfect lunchtime tipple.
One of the great delights in life is to enjoy a few glasses of the real Moscato from Northern Italy. At 5.5% Alcohol you can. This is like drinking exploding fresh Moscato Bianco grapes. Each perfectly ripened, fruit sweet with acid to balance so you will want another glass.
Appearance: Light golden yellow.
Nose: Very fresh and delicate with pronounced notes of muscatel, quince and pear.
Palate: Brilliant balance between sweetness and vivacity. Typical muscat fruit palate with great finesse and elegance where fruit notes seamlessly meld together. The light bubbles and fresh acidity ensure a long lasting fresh finish.
