Hailing from McLaren Vale, this is a 'big boy on a Harley' style of red that is full of rich and ripe dark cherries and assorted berries on the nose, along with a decent whiff of toasty oak, mocha and licorice. The palate is full-bodied at 14.9% alcohol, with sweet and softish fruit flavours, approachable tannins, and a kick of chocolate and coffee on the decent finish. Drink over the next 4 to 5 years with some rare roast meats.
