Here is a little piece of Italy that will be great with Pizza Napoletana. Made from the Italian native grape sangiovese, and a splash of merlot, it's bright and red-fruited with a ripe cherry centre, savoury tannins and a fresh, smooth, soft finish. It's all you could want in a pizza wine, so share some with your friends at the local trattoria.

Sangiovese 90%, Merlot 5%, Canaiolo 5%

Vinification

Following careful grape selection and maceration of the must over the grape skins for at least ten days, an advanced constant temperature fermentation technique is applied, yielding a pleasant full bodied wine that keeps its distinctive fruitiness for an extensive period of time.

Appearance

Lively ruby red.

Aroma

Savory and fruity with traces of ripe red fruit.

Palate

Fresh, balanced and full bodied.
