What you have here is a slurpable Shiraz that everyone wants to refill their glasses with. It kicks off with exotic fruit and spice aromas before mixing up flavours of blackberry, pepper and mocha chocolate. It’s balanced and long and will keep in the medium term but it’s unlikely you’ll keep your hands off it.
This cool climate Shiraz was harvested early in April from a hot, dry summer followed by a particularly mild autumn. These conditions favoured a more medium bodied, structural and aromatic red wines. Made using open fermentation vessels, this Shiraz was then aged in new (10%) and older French oak barrels for 16 months.
Deep purple in colour with bright violet hues, the wine exhibits aromatic red fruit - raspberry, boysenberry and plum with a hint of anise and white pepper. The palate is medium bodied and aromatic with red berry fruits. It has a long, rich and elegant finish with silky fine tannin.
“Two in the Bush” Shiraz has instant appeal and the necessary balance & structure to age for up to 5 years.
