Cracka Review

It’s Tassie’s time to shine as they are now making some of the most impressive cool-climate wines in the country. Bream Creek are one of the oldest established vineyards in the region, having been planted in the early 70's. This is an alluring yet varietal depiction of Sauvignon Blanc with intense, tropical aromas supplemented by snow pea and citrus. The palate is tangy and refreshing with zesty, fresh acids and a clean, crisp finish.

Winemaker's Notes

A Sauvignon Blanc in the traditional Bream Creek style with aromas of green pea, crushed blackcurrant leaf and hints of passionfruit. It has a balanced palate of white stone fruits, guava and citrus, finishing with a refreshing twist of herbs and would be ideal as an aperitif or with fresh seafood dishes.

Alc/vol: 13.2%

Lemon skin, grass; a hint tropical sweetness; plenty of overall flavour. One of the very few silver medal winners in its class at the Tas Wine Show ‘12.

This has a distinctly grassy edge with some vegetal notes that belie the cool as cool origins of the wine. The palate s lithe and juicy with a tropical thread, passionfruit and lime citrus, crisp and juicy; grassy to close.
