With expertly judged use of new French oak, winemaker Lindsay Corby coaxed the very best from this beautiful parcel of fruit, making a wine with the sweet plum and spice we love so well in Shiraz, but packaged in a slightly finer frame. Garnet in colour, the medium bodied palate is elegant and precise. Bright raspberry, cherry and plum, leather and spice, it's a beautifully composed and lithe Shiraz packed full of classic varietal appeal - all with only 13% alcohol.
With all the 'je ne sais quoi' of the stunning 10/10 2015 vintage, this is a chance to try something unusual and special, but with all the traditional Shiraz character its fans love so well.
Tasting Note: New French oak gives spicy notes and fine tannins that complement the dark fruit cake aromas and flavours provided by the ripe fruit used to make this wine. Match with spicy and full flavoured meat dishes.
