2015 Fraser Gallop Estate Chardonnay

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

There's very little oak in this wine and displays aromas of apples, pears and citrusy grapefruit on the nose. The palate is svelte, lip smacking and zesty with a fresh, dry finish and a crunchy texture. Freshly shucked oysters would be the go with this one.

Winemaker's Notes

Vibrant and bright in the glass with a lemon-green straw colour. The wine has aromas of lemon, lime, wet stones with a waft of struck match. Very crisp and clean lines, with flavours of lemon/grapefruit and a lick of oatmeal cream on the finish. A great wine to pair with oysters or creamy cheese like goat curd. Cellar for up to 5 years.
