This fulsome red is right in the drinking zone, and a couple of years have helped to settle it down. There's lots of dark, choc-coated berries on the nose, along with hints of mint and crushed leaves. The palate is full and juicy, with plummy and mocha flavours, smooth tannins, and an even smoother finish. Excellent with some beef sliders.
Story: Grown in nearly every major wine producing country in the world, Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the world’s most widely recognised variety. The grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon are grown in Langhorne Creek. There is also a touch of Limestone Coast Petit Verdot to add body & tannin and Adelaide Hills Merlot for roundness in this wine.
Nose: The nose offers aromas of blackcurrant, black cherries and menthol with hints of violets.
Palate: The palate is soft and youthful with black fruits and mint, complemented by a well-integrated tannin structure.
Pairing: For a perfect match, pair this wine with a slow roasted Moroccan spiced lamb shoulder served with a sundried tomato and chickpea salad.
Cellaring: Drink now to 2023.
