This reserve Semillon is a reminder why the Hunter Valley make some of the worlds most unique whites. This has vital aromas of citrus and pear with hints of spice. The palate delivers flinty citrus with a crisp structure and an amazing acid line. Just perfect with freshly shucked oysters.

Pale green-quartz; the typical intensity, the spread of aromas and flavours in the ïnewÍ style, with specific cultured yeast(s) helping build the citrus and pear fruits, but without detracting from the sharply focused, laser-like line of the palate.

Pale straw-green; as with so many modern Hunter Valley semillons, shares many characteristics in common with young riesling; this modern style seems to be in part due to yeast selection and screwcaps, a combination enhancing citrus and pear fruit on the bouquet, reappearing on the finish and aftertaste.
