2015 Kangarilla Road Pinot Grigio

Winemaker's Notes

Winter in 2014 was wetter than usual but from August to early January it was very dry with above average temperatures. It was this dry ripening period that has the Adelaide Hills region celebrating one of their best vintages in 10 years.

Delicious notes of tangy lemon meringue pie jump from the glass and on further investigation the scent of dried pears and the perfume of honeysuckle blossoms intermingle.

The palate reveals lime marmalade, the fruit and minerality of tinned apricots, a mouth filling viscosity carrying through to notes of ruby grapefruit and subtle hints of shortbread.
