Cracka Review

This bonny little riesling out of the Eden Valley is a more medium-sweet style, and it's low alcohol, which all means this would be awesome with Thai dishes, or even spicy pork sausages. There's lots of lemons, limes and green apples on the nose, which translate to the light, sweeter palate flavours, with a nice line of fresh acidity refreshing the finish. Drink over the next couple of years in good company.

Winemaker's Notes

Colour: Pale straw with green hues

Aroma: Lifted bouquet of limes and Granny Smith apple mingle deliciously with a little talc and confectionary hints

Palate: Juicy, refreshing and lively on the palate with a lovely, fine frizzante to help deliver fresh lime and apple to the taste buds. Medium sweet, natural grape sugars are well balanced with zingy, crisp acidity which the Riesling grape is famous for and the finish is long, zesty and fruitful

Food Pairing Notes: Spicy Asian infused dishes or a simple pre-dinner aperitif

Alc/vol: 9.0%

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
A very attractive Mosel style, the expected sweetness perfectly balanced by crisp, refreshing acidity, with flavours of lime, lemon and green apple; has a very long finish. Expertly made.
