2015 Leaping Lizard Sauvignon Blanc

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

Lip smacking Savvy from WA that will have you back online screaming for more. Talk about over delivering, this is the kind of wine retailers like us love delivering to our customers.

Flavours ranging from citrus and kiwi fruit and the traditional passionfruit ; are followed up by a nice line of acidity, essential to achieve a palate with a unique balance between flavour and crispness.

Drink now while the fresh fruit flavours dominate. Smash it down with some seafood this weekend!

Winemaker's Notes

Pale green, lively aromas of zesty lime and lemon entwined with green pear and spice. Pear, passionfruit and kiwi fruit, balanced with zippy acidity and a clean flavoursome finish. Sauvignon Blanc was harvested between the 28th of February and 6th of March.

Warm seasons give the opportunity to harvest fruit with a variety of flavour spectrums ranging from citrus and kiwi fruit, to tropical and passionfruit flavours. Retainment of acidity is essential to achieve a palate with a unique balance between flavour and crispness.

Drink now while the fresh fruit flavours dominate. This wine is bottled young to enjoy in its youth when it shows freshness and vitality – enjoy! Serve Chilled at 8-12°C. Amazing with fresh prawns.
