Wonderful packaging and delicious wine - there is much to like about this Sauvignon Blanc. Sourced from Peter Logan's high altitude Orange vineyards, this has wonderful purity and refreshment with a long and delicious snappy palate. High quality Sauv.

Winemaker's Notes

We harvested the grapes for this Sauvignon Blanc between 12.3° and 13.1° Baumé from the 16th to the 24th March 2015. The grapes are grown at an elevation of greater than 900 metres on the slopes of Mount Canobolas in Orange.

The 2015 vintage was a joy in the NSW Central Ranges with fine weather throughout the growing season. Spring and summer were sunny and dry but with mild temperatures. These conditions continued deep into autumn ensuring a high quality harvest. It was an early harvest with all grapes from both our Mudgee and Orange vineyards harvested by the end of March. These conditions produced richly flavoured grapes with good texture and varietal characters.

The Logan 2015 Sauvignon Blanc is very pale gold in colour. It has a vibrant aroma of guava, meyer lemon, sage and white flowers. The gently textured palate zings with flavours of lime, pink grapefruit, papaya and nuts with a long mineral finish.
