2015 Morgan's Sauvignon Blanc

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

After a long hiatus, Morgan's is back on deck and Cracka, and boy have they delivered. This cracking Sauvignon Blanc is packed full of tropical fruit flavours and zippy acidity. A little more generous than it's kiwi cousins, this is the perfect accompaniment to a asian salad on a sunny spring afternoon.

Winemaker's Notes

Winemaking Notes

The fruit for this wine was picked in the middle of the night, right at the cusp of its peak fruit flavour. Using an aromatic yeast strain, the wine was fermented in stainless steel, allowing the fresh tropical and herbaceous characters, to show through. This wine also spent a small amount of time on lees. The wine was lightly fined, stabilised, and filtered, and bottled for early release, to maintain the wine’s vibrancy, and acidity.
