Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
Full, bright crimson-purple; here is an object lesson in the impact of terroir (in its full meaning), for the wine has a radically different expression of pinot noir, with plum firmly in the driverÕs seat, but donÕt think this has been overworked in the winery, because it hasnÕt. It combines its fluid line with texture, which-like the Gippsland Pinot-accelerates through to the finish.

Quite a dense and ripe style that also trades on bright acidity, and there s a nutty, savoury sheen across ripe dark berry fruits on the nose. The palate delivers plenty of plum flavour, earthy too, and a supple, dense tannin finish.
