Phwoar check out the bottle on that!

But hey, there's more to this 2015 Sensi Anniversary Edition Tuscan Sangiovese than some very expensive-looking packaging. Released to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Sensi Wines, and sourced from the hills between Florence and Vinci, this classic Tuscan Sangiovese has that perfect combination of berry fruits, grown-up Sangio tannins and some sexy French oak richness.

With a ginormous 97 points from Italian wine critic Luca Maroni to its name, and no shortage of Sangiovese charm as its game, this is guaranteed to make all your (Italian wine) dreams come true.

    expert reviews

    Luca Maroni (2015 Vintage) says
Sensi confirms itself as producer of top quality Tuscan wines. A series of wines with excellent consistency, with always harmonious softness of taste, qualified by the oenological transformative purity at the top of each type of wine. Chapeau!

    winemaker's notes

The Anniversary Edition is the bottle that celebrates the 125th anniversary of the founding of our company, and wants to reinterpret existing key and elegant lines of traditional Tuscan bottle.

Produced in the heart of Tuscany, on the hills between Florence and Vinci, with Sangiovese grapes, Anniversary Edition is a wine made from the oldest vineyards in the south where the temperature range and the limestone-marl soil mixed with clay and shale sand greatly contribute to give a good structure and good aromatic intensity. After the fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in medium toasted French oak barrels with greater percentage of wood of 2nd passage.

Anniversary Sangiovese has a deep red colour, has a good body and a lingering aroma with notes of cherry and hints of spice. In the mouth it is soft, fresh and pleasantly balanced.
