Cracka Review

Marsanne is not exactly the first grape you ask for when you hit the pub, but thanks to people like Tamburlaine experimenting with varieties like this, you now get the opportunity to sample them. It’s a perfumed, aromatic style that is famously blended in the wines of the Rhone. Unusually this was grown in the Orange region of NSW so it has prospered in the cooler altitude of the area. It’s lifted with notes of pineapple and honey and seductive floral notes before a palate that balances vibrant peach and citrus. The mouthfeel is generous and it finishes with crisp, natural acids.

Winemaker's Notes

Fresh pineapple, honeycomb and floral aromas. Flavours of peaches and musk with sherbet-like acidity.
