2015 Taylors Estate Sauvignon Blanc

Cracka Value Rating

Cracka Review

No denying the variety here, it’s lifted with passionfruit, melon and other tropical characters giving a fresh burst of Sauvignon swagger. A mouth filling and refreshing palate of grapefruit and passionfruit before clean acids provide a long, satisfying finish.

Winemaker's Notes

Stylish, fresh new look on the outside... deliciously crisp with flavours of fresh passionfruit, green apple and gooseberry on the inside.

Colour: At release the wine is a very pale straw with a green edged hue

Bouquet: The wine is distinctly Adelaide Hills with tropical aromas of passionfruit and guava with a hint of freshly cut grass

Palate: This wine has a crisp and zippy palate with regional varietal flavours of tropical fruit up front and then gooseberry and some herbaceousness across the mid-palate. There is a naturally delicate, cleansing acidity to the wine with a soft, persistent finish

Cellaring notes: This wine should be enjoyed whilst young and fresh

Alc/vol: 13.3%
