2015 Xanadu Next of Kin Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
Despite the modest alcohol (by Margaret River standards) and the semillon component, the wine has an array of tropical fruits ranging through guava, lychee and passionfruit. Drink asap. Well priced.
Australian Wine Companion 2014 Edition 2013
James Halliday (2011 Vintage) says
Bright colour; a classic blend of tropical fruit, nettle, straw and a little citrus lift on the bouquet; the palate is fresh, accessible and lively, with just enough complexity to hold interest, but not so much as to challenge; certainly made in a drink early and drink often mould.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
The bouquet is fragrant and lively, as is the delicious palate, with its mix of passionfruit and guava, the finish bright and juicy.
Australian Wine Companion 2011 2010
Peter Forrestal (2009 Vintage) says
This is a new label for the reborn Xanadu, which is looking very good indeed under the ownership and direction of the Rathbone group and Glenn Goodall as chief wine-maker. This is gloriously aromatic and delightfully floral, with juicy tropical flavours featuring ripe, sweet fruit, some citrus and herbal notes and a crisp dry finish

Ray Jordan (2009 Vintage) says
Wonderfully lively and zesty blend with a racy acidity and a palate lifting twist of lime. It's so precise and pure with a lip smacking mouth feel. That acid is so fine yet it carries the finish effortlessly.
Ray Jordan's 2011 WA Wine Guide 2011
WINESTATE (2009 Vintage) says
Delightfully herbaceous and green apple-like nose that leads onto a mouth-watering, steely palate brimming over with fresh varietal fruit flavours.
