Cracka Review

From the good people at Frogmore Creek comes this highly fruity and very glugable Pinot Noir at an excellent price. There's plenty of red and dark berries on the nose, along with sniffs of star anise and dried roses. The palate is very medium-bodied, soft and juicy, with gentle tannins, friendly acidity, and a smooth, silky finish.

Winemaker's Notes

Aroma: Fresh red berries fruit aromas.

Palate: Rich texture, voluptuous with balanced tannin structure. Lengthy with plenty of elegance.

Food Matching: Duck.

Alc/vol: 13.5%

Nick Stock (2008 Vintage) says
Frogmore Creek's junior label shows bright red cherry and leafy forest floor notes too - nice and fresh. Chirpy cherry liqueur palate with fine tannin and acid that lines it all up nicely. Balanced and fresh.
