An outstanding Tasmanian Pinot with complexity but still full of fruit. This wine can be drunk now or matured for 10 years. The fruit used in this wine is from the original 1998 planting, approaching a decade in maturity and starting to reflect more of the earthy and nutty flavours of a true Burgundy.
Tasting Notes: Medium garnet red colour. Lifted aromas of spicy red fruits with vibrancy depth and finesse with more of a Burgundian than new world feel. Seamless and vibrant with refreshing lift and just a hint of sappiness that keeps the wine fresh and very long. Very complete and long with beautiful balance.
