Cracka Review

Made from Sangiovese grown on De Bortoli's King Valley vineyard in NE Victoria, it's a pale and savoury style of modern rosé that has freshness written all over it. De Bortoli are one of the best rosé makers in the country, and this uber friendly (amici is Italian for friends after all) Sangiovese based pink is such a clever wine.

Winemaker's Notes

Wine Region: Step into Little Italy in the King Valley, where dynamic Italian migrant families established wineries that continue to innovate through the generations. You'll taste increasingly well-known Italian wines, including prosecco, nebbiolo, sangiovese, pinot grigio, dolcetto, arneis and barbera.

Amici (friends in Italian) epitomises the simple life of enjoying wine and food with friends. We feel this is an essential part of family life and it has led us to the King Valley where the Italian varieties and Italian heritage thrive and match so well with food. The perfect accompaniment to a summer's afternoon.

Food Match: Fish, oysters, crustaceans, Thai, vegetarian pizza, summer salads, quiche, proscuitto, capsicum & asparagus dishes, smoked fish, white meats, herbed chicken & veal.
