Cracka Review

Quality, Yarra Valley Pinot Noir at a great price? Gimme gimme gimme!!!

This youthful vibrant wine is a juicy and quite luscious Yarra Valley Pinot Noir from a reasonably warm vintage, with dark cherry flavours and a hint of oak spice. It's quite forward and generous considering its age, and very approachable.

A delicious Yarra Pinot, from one of the best Pinot Noir producers in the world!

Winemaker's Notes

Supple feel, gentle tannin, darker fruit flavours, wood spice, gentle, delicious.

Steve Webber and the team at De Bortoli really know how to do Pinot (and Chardonnay and Cabernet and Shiraz and Dessert wine for that matter) well.

This is an absolute beauty - It is a rich, ripe, complex and utterly alluring Pinot Noir that is handpicked from some of their finest Pinot vineyards in the Yarra Valley and an absolute bargain for anything less than $20 or $25 bucks.
