2016 Philip Shaw The Wire Walker Pinot Noir

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

The Orange region of NSW has plenty of potential for Pinot Noir, and this value offering from Philip Shaw gives an indication to that potential. Smells of strawberries, red cherries, soft spice and touches of earthy savouriness and cedar float out of the glass to tempt the senses. Meanwhile, the palate is light to medium-bodied, with a nice spicy entry, gentle tannins, and a decent cherry and savoury-edged finish. Excellent with cured meats, or chicken liver pate.
