Cracka Review

OK, so it's pinot grigio, but Primo Grigio is a nice take. It also happens to be a ripping little PG that shows typical apples and pears on the nose with just a touch of tropicals and almonds. The palate is vibrant and fruit sweet with Granny Smith apples and green pear flavours, crunchy acidity, and a smooth finish. An excellent seafood wine.

Winemaker's Notes

Delicate aromas of pear and nectarine, citrus blossom and spice. Subtle pear and green apple fruit characters, with texture and length balanced by crisp acidity and a dry finish.

2016 Primo Estate Primo Grigio

Expert Reviews

Nick Stock (2012 Vintage) says
A new wine for the Primo folks, sourced from a Woodside vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. This has all the classic sweet pears and apples, some melon too, really fresh and lively. The palate s packed with bright, sweet, ripe pear and peach fruits; really luscious and appealing wine. Long, sweetly flavoursome finish.
