42 Degrees South Premier Cuvee Sparkling

Cracka Rating

Cracka Review

From the guys at Frogmore Creek comes this easy-drinking bottle of Tassie bubbles. Made from chardonnay and pinot noir, there's some nice fresh pears, buttered toast and citrus on the nose, whilst the palate is lighter-bodied, fun and friendly, with zippy lemony flavours, a subtle creamy texture, and a smooth, dry, fresh finish. An excellent option for that night in with your mates.

Winemaker's Notes

Aromas of toasty brioche and delicate citrus subtly emerge from the fine beads. Full and crisp flavours of apples and strawberries linger on the refined acid structure. Went well with a dozen natural oysters.

Expert Reviews

Nick Stock says
A chardonnay/pinot noir blend that delivers poached apple and dried potpourri florals on the nose - quite mellow - with hints of fresh-baked bread. The palate packs a crisp, zesty punch: more apple fruits here, and subtle red berries. Simple, crisp and balanced.

A dynamic, refreshing and fruit-focused blend from across Tasmania that captures lemon and red berry fruits of compelling purity, intricately crafted with beautifully ripe acidity and perfectly integrated dosage of 9g/l.
