Abbey Creek Sauvignon Blanc

Expert Reviews

Ray Jordan (2011 Vintage) says
A restrained yet lively sauvignon blanc showing a steely core of tight fruit. There's a mix of herbs, gooseberry and a bright lifting acid on the finish to make for excellent current drinking. Nice sweet fruit in the middle with a dry finish. Drinking quite beautifully now.

Ray Jordan (2009 Vintage) says
A most delicate and restrained savvy, yet one with beautiful light tropical notes on the nose and persistent crunchy vibrant fruit on the palate. It's a lean and slightly austere style now that's ideal as an aperitif. Makes quite a difference to the NZ sav blancs. A highly drinkable wine.

WINESTATE (2009 Vintage) says
Simple nose and restrained palate, with floral/herbal fruit showing a citrusy dash.
