James Halliday (2012 Vintage) says
Light straw-green; the fragrant bouquet suggests the wine will be full of lime citrus fruit, but when it is tasted the initial minerally impression on the fore-palate is contrary to that expectation; however, as the wine reaches the back-palate it surges into life with all the citrus and mineral you could ever wish for.

James Halliday (2010 Vintage) says
Showing some savoury characters, and a minerally backbone, offset by exotic, orange rind, lime zest and vibrant acidity; dry, zesty and crisp to conclude.

Ray Jordan (2010 Vintage) says
Continues the amazing run of outstanding rieslings for this little Porongurup producer. Flinty dry Riesling with a slaty spicy slightly powdery aroma. Penetrating acid on the palate sustains a very long lean palate that carries a deceptive fruit generosity. A style that will benefit from cellaring.

James Halliday (2009 Vintage) says
Very light straw-green; flowery apple blossom with a dusting of talc; the palate is pure, precise and perfectly balanced, apple, lime and minerally acidity all combining.

Boy I like these guy's Rieslings. This is another beauty with the typical spicy minerally and slightly citrus aromas. The palate is restrained and delicate yet with precise and sustained length. A Riesling that is perfect for immediate drinking but which will cellar for five or so years.

WINESTATE (2008 Vintage) says
Restrained lemon/lime juice bouquet but a lively and flavoursome varietal palate with soft phenolic notes. Very elegant.

James Halliday (2007 Vintage) says
Still very pale; has an abundance of lime-accented fruit on both bouquet and palate, the finish long and sustained.
Australian Wine Companion 2010 2009
James Halliday (2006 Vintage) says
Intense lime juice flavours run through to the lingering finish; distinguished wine.
Australian Wine Companion 2008 2007
WINESTATE (2006 Vintage) says
Pure riesling nose - delightfully fresh floral/minerally bouquet. The palate is long and firm and has plenty of minerally flavours that stretch across the whole length of the spectrum and linger at the end.
Winestate 20082009
James Halliday (2005 Vintage) says
Glorious pale-green; an incredibly youthful palate, with most of its characters almost identical to those of the '09, though a little more formed and intense.
Australian Wine Companion 2011 2010
James Halliday (2003 Vintage) says
Vibrant colour and personality, showing minimal development; strong lemon flavour and fine acidity, gives way to a very fine and fresh finish.
Australian Wine Companion 2009 2008
James Halliday (2002 Vintage) says
Flowery, spice and apple blossom aromas; a refined and classic structure; pity no screwcap. Winewise Best Riesling.
