Ray Jordan (2007 Vintage) says
A most elegant and stylish Cabernet expressing the leafy cool characters of the variety with some finesse. Fine sinewy tannins and fine grained oak wrap the medium weight fruit gently. Tight finish.

This is the result of a very good year in Margaret River. Has a leafy tobacco character on the nose typical of this variety. The red berry and cedary mix if attractive. The palate is soft with generous intensity carrying to a long finish. Lovely mouth feel and seamless structure. Elegant and poised to the finish.

An extra year has taken this up another notch. Beautifully fragrant perfume of cedary oak, blackcurrant and light mintiness. The palate is chock full of powerful silky smooth Cabernet with fine tannins, terrific oak and deep concentration. These guys are making some super wines these days.

Good varietal character firms both the flavour and structure; medium-bodied, blackcurrant fruit; fine, slightly earthy, tannins.
