Here's a bubbly that is bright and fresh and would be great as a party starter. Peaches, strawberries and buttered toast waft out of the glass, whilst the palate is lighter-bodied and creamy, with a nice line of citrusy acidity, a fine bubble, and a bit of richness to the long, toasty finish.
Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from several blocks on the vineyard are hand harvested and whole bunch pressed. All batches are kept separate. Juices are settled and racked to yeast fermentation in old oak barriques or stainless steel tanks.
Akarua Brut NV is a fresh aperitif style with floral, savoury and bread dough aroma’s. The palate has a creamy middle and a long crisp brut finish.
