The 2010 vintage was hand-picked at 24 brix from first-crop vines at Kerikeri, in Northland, tank-fermented and bottled early. It's an auspicious debut - full-bodied, with strong stone-fruit and spice flavours, showing a touch of lees-aging complexity. Weighty, rich and dry, it's a distinctly northern style, with gentle acidity and a ripe, well-rounded finish.
