Cracka Review

This pinot princess is a single vineyard wine right on the doorstep of the famed Felton Road. In true Central Otago fashion, it's a fullsome, fleshy, fruity number that shows scents of black cherries, plums, licorice spice and toasted cedar on the nose, with a smattering of dried thyme. The palate is deep and dense for pinot noir, with more dark fruit flavours, appealing licks of spicy oak, soft tannins, and a spiced plum finish that will have you going in for a another sip.

Winemaker's Notes

Traditional Burgundian winemaking has created a Central Otago Pinot Noir in an Old World style. This Pinot Noir has a deep garnet colour and is a brooding, vibrant wine, with aromas of black cherry, raspberry, and blackberry. The palate is focused and concentrated, tight, with firm tannins, subtle oak and a very long finish.
