Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Made in an 'easy-drinking' style, the 2008 vintage is excellent, if assessed as a sort of Beaujolais look-alike. Ruby-hued, it is sweet-fruited and smooth (in fact, harbouring 5 grams/litre of residual sugar), with generous plum and cherry flavours and gentle tannins in an unabashedly fruit-driven style, delicious from the start.
