Alana Estate Tuapapa Pinot Noir

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2002 Vintage) says
The Tuapapa ('Terraces') label was launched from 2002 as 'a selection of younger vines', conveying 'lightness and innocence'. Harvested at 23. 5 brix and matured in French oak barriques (10 per cent new), it is light ruby, with considerable development showing. Green-edged, with nutty, spicy, herbal characters, it shows some complexity, but lacks real ripeness and richness.
