Expert Reviews

WINESTATE (2008 Vintage) says
Light ruby, with a floral, scented bouquet. Smooth, with a subtle oak influence, some savoury complexity and satisfying depth of ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours. Lots of drink-young charm.
Winestate 2009
Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
The 2003 vintage is superior to the 2002 Grown on the Te Muna Terraces, 4 kilometres from Martinborough, and matured for a year in French oak barriques (25 per cent new), the 2002 is light in colour, slightly under-ripe and herbal, lacking warmth and softness. The 2003 is fuller and brighter in colour, with very good depth of ripe, plummy, cherryish, spicy flavour and some nutty, savoury complexity
