Alkoomi Southlands Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Expert Reviews

James Halliday (2004 Vintage) says
Lively and crisp lemon, lime and tropical mix; sustained fruit on the finish.
Australian Wine Companion 2006 2005
Max Allen & Peter Forrestal (2004 Vintage) says
Southlands is a second label for this long-established Frankland River winery. The wine may also need a bit of a swirl to open out but it is fresh and lively with pleasant tropical fruit flavours.

Max Allen & Peter Forrestal (2000 Vintage) says
This is a new label for Merv and Judy Lange's seemingly ever-expanding Frankland winery. Their Alkoomi Sauvignon Blanc (not very far out of our price range) is often the best produced in Western Australia, so it's not surprising that the sauvignon component gives life and vitality to the wine. This blend of semillon, chenin blanc and sauvignon blanc is sourced from the state's most rapidly expanding viticultural area, Frankland. It is a fresh, clean, juicy white with snapped green bean flavours and a cool, zingy finish.
