Very ripe, very oaky red whose jammy plum and blackcurrant aromas reveal suggestions of mocha, treacle and currants. Rather porty, its over-ripened palate marries stressed fruit characters with ashtray-like oak.

Medium to full red-purple; a rich, concentrated bouquet with sweet black fruit and well-balanced and integrated vanilla oak is followed by an equally concentrated palate with cigar-box overtones to the blackberry and cherry fruit, moving through to appropriately structured tannins on the finish.
