James Halliday says
Deep olive-amber brown; the bouquet is spicy and rich with some plum pudding aromas, the palate powerful and concentrated, less overtly sweet/raisiny than the Classic, but more complex and spicy; has excellent length, and good acidity.
Australian Wine Companion 2003 2002
Smells of toffee and rhubarb pie - "Yum" was one comment! Oily mouthfeel with lifted malty/toffee apple flavour complexity and a clean, crisp acid backbone.
