Allan Scott Marlborough Unwooded Chardonnay

Cracka Review

Varietal aromas of stonefruit, melon, tropical fruits and a light spiciness on the nose, this is an elegant wine with a soft round yet focused palate showing creamy peach and stone fruit flavours, with hints of spice. It has a subtle acidity, seamless and harmonious, with a lingering finish.

James Halliday (1998 Vintage) says
Light to medium green-yellow; somewhat surprisingly, the bouquet is clean and tight, and the oak in balance with the fruit. The palate opens in similar fashion, but then the oak and mlf characters come through forcefully on the finish.
