WINESTATE (2009 Vintage) says
From vines up to 30 years old, this wine was tank-fermented and matured for 10 months in seasoned oak barrels. Feshy, ripe style with good depth of tropical fruit flavours, slightly nutty and leesy notes adding complexity, and a tight, dry finish.
WINESTATE Volume 34 (2011) 2011
Michael Cooper (2009 Vintage) says
Based on vines planted in 1980 next to the winery at Rapaura, the 2009 vintage was tank-fermented and matured for 10 months in old oak barrels, with regular lees-stirring. It's a crisp, bone-dry style, tightly structured and mouthfilling, with fresh, ripe tropical-fruit flavours and leesy, nutty notes adding complexity.

Michael Cooper (2008 Vintage) says
Based on vines planted in 1980, next to the winery at Rapauta, the 2008 vintage was mostly handled in tanks, but 5 per cent of the blend was fermented in old barrels. It's a bone-dry style, tight and youthful, with a slightly creamy texture and ripe tropical-fruit flavours, showing good concentration.
