Alpha Domus Hawke's Bay Chardonnay

Expert Reviews

Michael Cooper (2004 Vintage) says
This Hawke's Bay wine is a fruit-driven style with fresh, citrusy, appley flavours to the fore. Twenty per cent barrel-fermented, the 2004 vintage is gently oaked, with crisp, vibrant fruit characters and a well-rounded, slightly off-dry finish.

Michael Cooper (2003 Vintage) says
This Hawke's Bay wine is basically a fruit-driven style with fresh, citrusy and appley flavours to the fore and a smooth finish. The 2003 vintage is fresh, vibrant and lemony, with gentle oak and lees-aging characters adding a touch of complexity. The 2004 has strong peachy, buttery flavours.
